Hi! Welcome back! In today’s post, I will discuss some updates on my final product and how it is going.
As you may already know from reading my previous blog posts, my final product is a digital marketing campaign for my mentor, Mr. Saurabh Aggarwal’s startup XP League Frisco. I am creating a digital marketing campaign for a parent’s awareness event, which I will also facilitate.
The past week of ISM has been quite busy and productive, as I have been working non-stop throughout the school day, trying to fit in as much work as possible so I can approach this final product gracefully and effectively. I have currently created the two flyers that will be used in the campaign, along with some promotional photos (which I also happened to have taken).
I created one flyer for the dimensions of the Eventbrite platform and another flyer for a Facebook Ads post. I have also reached out to parents to speak at the event, coordinating with two other members of the marketing team, and have had a Zoom call with my mentor regarding KPIs all in just five days. The specific KPIs I wanted to focus on measuring before and after my campaign were reach and leads, but my mentor also emphasized the importance of cost-per-lead as you want to be spending as little money as possible when acquiring new customers.
This is where the sales aspect comes into play with the marketing, and I think I should perhaps focus more on leads and cost-per-lead as reach seems not to be the most excellent way to measure how many people are actually interested in the service/product.
ISM has been a wonderful opportunity that is pushing me to my limits and allowing me to improve myself constantly, both personally and professionally.
Thank you for reading! I hope to see you back next time.
