Hi! Welcome back! In today’s post, I will discuss some updates regarding my mentorship experience and ISM as a class.
This past week in ISM has come with some significant updates, both nerve-wracking and exciting. I have decided on my final product idea with my mentor and just today; I gave my Original Work Presentation Speech about Digital Marketing.
I have been working on brainstorming an idea for my final product and discussed my thoughts with my mentor, Mr. Saurabh Aggarwal. He said that running a marketing campaign for a parent’s event he wants to host on Facebook Ads would be great and that I could handle it while also managing two other peers as they work on their own marketing efforts. My idea for the Facebook Ad was to create about 1-2 flyers for the media of the Facebook Ad and measure the average reach number and the average number of leads from my mentor’s previous campaigns. What I hope to accomplish is to put out a campaign that generates more leads in order to show my newfound knowledge of digital marketing.
On another note, today, I recently gave my Original Work Presentation Speech about Digital Marketing, which lasted for a little over 14 minutes. My timing was a little off; however, the content I presented was quite good and organized well. The only things I need to work on are speaking slightly slower, using transitions that flow better, and pacing myself. I am confident I can get to the 30-minute mark by the final presentation night in April, as I will have even more to discuss with the completion of my final product.
With that being said, ISM has definitely been testing my abilities, but in the end, I am glad I applied, and I am even more pleased that I have this avenue of improvement for a few more months.
Thank you for reading! I hope to see you back next time.
